My name is Taylor Adkins, and I have been working in childcare for the past eight years. I began my journey in childcare in a cleaning role and, through hard work, dedication, and a passion for supporting children, I have progressed to become a Nursery Manager. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and am also a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I believe in building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure every child receives the best possible care and support. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience and developed a strong understanding of the importance of early years education, safeguarding, and supporting children’s individual needs. I take pride in my role and enjoy helping both children and staff to learn, grow, and develop. Outside of the nursery, I live with my husband and our two cats. I enjoy spending time with my family and making the most of life outside of childcare. I am proud of how far I have come in my career and look forward to continuing to develop my skills, support my team, and make a positive difference in the lives of the children and families I work with.
